Philanthropy
The NKCCA is a Non-Profit with a mission to give back to not just the athletes, but the community in which they reside. The annual competitions provide scholarship opportunities for participating athletes. Those same competitions also provide volunteer organizations an opportunity to earn money for their programs and fund all the activities the association runs throughout the school year.
The YOUTH BOARD not only volunteers at the NKCCA with events, but they are involved in the community through various programs: Youth Board Nomination
Magnified Giving – a 501(C)3 educational organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with partner schools in greater Cincinnati, central Ohio, northeast Ohio, and northern Kentucky. Their mission is to educate, inspire and engage students in philanthropy, and to touch the hearts and minds of teens, lighten the concerns of others, and magnify the impact of philanthropy.
Volunteer Team Award – The Youth Board chooses an agency from those nominated to donate a portion of the NKCCA’s competition funds. They look at the specific impacts of the volunteer or community service effort (numbers reached, hours served, dollars saved as a result, etc.) – If you would like to nominate an agency, complete this form: NKCCA Youth Board’s Agency Nomination Form
